Former Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed is making his political comeback after the controversy that rocked his last term. Reed cites Atlanta's rise in violent crime as his motivation and has vowed to reinvest in Atlanta's police force if elected.

Atlanta City Council President Felicia Moore is running her campaign for Mayor on crime reduction and increased public safety, fiscal responsibility, and transparency. Moore was previously District 9 representative of the Atlanta City Council from 1998 to 2017. Moore's goals as Mayor include increasing transparency, fiscal responsibility within the City, and reforming the police force.

City Councilman Andre Dickens prioritizes workforce development, transportation, public safety, and educational opportunities for his campaign for Mayor of Atlanta. Dickens is currently representing the At-Large Post 3 as a member of the Atlanta City Council. While on City Council, Dickens has created the John Lewis Memorial Task Force and co-sponsored and passed legislation requiring the city government to pay a minimum hourly wage of $15.

Atlanta city councilman Antonio Brown is another controversial figure running for Mayor in the General Election. Despite being indicted on federal fraud charges last year, Brown believes he still has a great shot at becoming Atlanta's 61st Mayor. He currently represents Atlanta's District 3, which includes Atlantic Station, Vine City, and English Avenue. Brown's campaign slogan is "Let's Reimagine Atlanta Together," and one of the main goals of his campaign is to end inequality in Atlanta.

With a passion for community development, attorney and Mayoral candidate Sharon Gay is campaigning to end the growing social and economic inequality in Atlanta and stop the rise in violent crime. In the early 90s, Gay served got hands-on experience in City Hall working as Deputy Chief of Staff to the infamous, former Mayor of Atlanta Bill Campbell. Gay has also previously served as Vice President of Governmental Affairs for the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce.
